Betty Kepka-Schultz Mrs. Schultz lives with her husband, Robert, in Dixon, Illinois…the beautiful community that was once a hometown to a young Ronald Reagan. Very near to the Schultz residence is the quaint hamlet, Grand Detour, where notables such as John Deere and Orson Wells once resided. Mrs. Schultz is a mother of five, a poet, freelance writer and an author of children's books.

Betty A. Kott The late Betty Kott had lived with her husband, Arthur and their five children, in Oak Forest, Illinois. She was a graduate of the American Academy of Art, a commercial artist, teacher and owned her own design studio. Her most recent works were illustrating two novels, The Stairway from Here to There and Morn of Mystery. Mrs. Kott passed away before her last work was published.

Cindy Buffo Illustrator of Purple Patches and an Art Specialist at St. Peters Cathedral School in Rockford, Illinois, teaching Kindergarten through 8th Grade for the past 17 years. Mrs. Buffo's background in art includes illustration and graphic design. She is mother of two and resides with her husband, Peter, in Roscoe, Illinois.

Lori Skelly Becicka Illustrator of Chooch and a graphic design specialist resided in Manchester, Iowa at the time of Chooch's publication in 1990. She is a mother of two and has recently moved to Missouri. |
